Founded in 1993, Rainbow Migration supports lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer and intersex people through the UK asylum and immigration system while also carrying out campaign and influencing work to improve the asylum system for LGBTQI+ people.
Today they are the longest running organisation in Europe supporting LGBTQI+ people seeking asylum. They provide vital practical and emotional support so that LGBTQI+ people feel less isolated and help them to access safe housing and healthcare services.
Rainbow Migration delivers the UK’s only specialist legal advice on LGBTQI+ asylum to help LGBTQI+ people seeking safety secure their futures here. They undertake campaigning and policy work to advocate for a more humane and compassionate asylum and immigration system.

Surrey Docks Farm is a working city farm in the heart of London. It occupies a beautiful 2.2 acre site on the south bank of the river Thames in Rotherhithe.
The Farm is an ideal setting and environment for environmental activities throughout the calendar year. There is always something interesting to see, no matter what the season or weather.
The Farm works with local communities and the people of Southwark to provide many unique opportunities for people to learn about farming, food production, and be actively involved in the ongoing working life of the farm.
Animals reared on the Farm include a herd of goats, sheep, cows, pigs, ducks, geese, chickens, donkeys and a pony. The herds and flocks are farmed with specific attention to animal welfare at all times.
There are a variety of green and horticultural attractions at Surrey Docks Farm. They care for an orchard, herb garden, dye garden, vegetable plots, and a wildlife area.

The Farm’s Youth Team deliver informal outdoor learning programmes for children aged 2 – 18 throughout the year.
a range of accredited training projects for adult students with learning disabilities at Surrey Docks Farm in the areas of horticulture, animal husbandry, food preparation, retail and farm maintenance. Students develop practical skills and knowledge as part of a sociable team, engaging with the wider farm community and visitors.
Surrey Docks Farm have launched a new Mobile Farm project which enables them to bring farm animals to your educational event, where they teach people about farming and where our food comes from and/or provide animals for a therapeutic benefit.
